Dawn of the Century: Semi-Realistic 1895 RP

Quick Overview: This will be a semi-realistic, alternative history roleplay that begins in January of 1895. Important events that happen in this universe that differ from real history are as followed.

• The Confederate States of America managed to grind the American Civil War to a stalemate, Lincoln lost his re-election bid, and, with increasing pressures from European powers, a peace agreement was reached. However, tensions over Kentucky still remain high to this day.
• The Red Revolution in East Europe took the Russian Empire and its neighbors by storm not long prior to game start. An Imperial enclave has survived and has taken up a last bastion in northern Russia.
• France and Great Britain split their sphere of influence in Canada, Britain taking the northern half and France taking the southern.
• European and Ottoman power in North Africa is small.
• Algeria is currently in a civil war between the government (west) and Islamists (east).
• Libya is currently in a civil war between the government (west) and Marxists (east).

Other than that, just about everything is relatively the same.
