"I, Chancellor of the URO have declared this Experimental URO game 3, as either the first of a new range of Medieval games, or the last.
I give my full approval to the backing of this game, and I do hope for it's success.
"Signed: Itachi Dark, Chancellor of the URO."

*Disclaimer* This game involves advanced diplomacy and willingness to both follow the rules and not ditch the game into the archive file, even if you fail, this particular game is designed to attempt to keep players alive. Its up to only you, the player, to remain active as much as you can and follow the rules, if you cannot cope with these 2 things, do not even bother reading this thread

Welcome Gentlemen to what shall become the newest Installment of Supremacy 1350/Medieval Supremacy!
Some of you may have seen the previous games, but if you're new, fear not, these games tend to be quite fun if people simply stick to being decent humans (Although sometimes that's too much to ask)

This thread shall explain how a Medieval game shall be simulated on the Supremacy 1914 engine and how the game will progress through the ages of time. Will your Empire survive this test? We'll all soon find out!

First off, I shall explain the basic rules that any roleplay game needs:
A: Please have a valid leader name and picture
B: Refrain from personal assaults on players ingame and on other means
C: No Goldmark allowed
D: Do not Spam the DE with OOC messages, if you have doubts, message the admin or another player. Absolutely Zero OOC messages in the DE (Anonymous stories are allowed though)

Since there is no direct way to allow/ban certain elements of the game, I will request every interested player to follow the Rules of Time, Made to simulate the passing of eras

The Dark Age:
-Level 1 Fort limit (Except for Roma and Constantinople, who can have Level 2 forts)
-Recruitment centers only
+Ports
-Level 2 Workshops only
-Dark Age ends in day 50
-Dark Age ends with the "Reconquista" Being a Catholic Victory
-Dark Age ends when The Ottomans Annex/Vassalize/take over Constantinople/Byzantium
+Light cavalry universally allowed

Renaissance Age:
-Level 3 Fort limit (No exceptions)
-Level 1 Barracks allowed
-Level 2 Factory allowed
+Artillery allowed universally
-Renaissance Age ends in Day 150
-Renaissance Age ends if all America has been colonized
-Renaissance Age ends if all Pagan nations have converted/been destroyed
-No tanks allowed (In most cases)

Enlightenment/Early Industrial Age:
-Level 4 Fort limit
+All recruitment allowed
+All units allowed (Except for railguns)
-Level 3 factory allowed
-Enlightenment Age ends in Day 250
-Enlightenment Age ends if a Revolutionary war is succesful

Industrial Age:
+All allowed
+No end

Subsequently, you must also follow the Rules of War, Which dictates how wars are handled; but remember, War is Encouraged, any sort of conflict which has a rational base of any kind can be approved, since conflict is what thrives a roleplay!

Rules of War:

+You need a casus Belli (explanation for war) when attacking people of your own Religion, AKA other: Christians/Pagans/Muslims
-You don't need a Casus Belli when attacking people of different religion
+Most of the time you'll at least have to announce your invasion
+You can take to a maximum of 3 provinces in each war from a Single player (This means you can take 3 territories from every single player you've fought in a single war)
+If a player has less than 6 provinces, he can be vassalized/annexed
+Annexed players may leave, or wait, as they can be formally restored by another player as another/same nation
+You can fight a religious war which changes the enemy country's religion to yours, this however, does NOT guarantee they'll remain loyal to you, or switch back to their previous faith

National Ideals:
In order to survive the passing of time and to ensure the well-thought strategy of each country, I have prepared 5 national ideals, these are the personal orientation that your nation specializes in, which grants bonuses across the ages!

Narrowminded:
+100% Inquisition power (Conversion rate)
+1 max family size (To be explained)
+Immune to most (60%) negative Religion events

Innovative:
+ (-10 day delay on tech and age advancement)
+Allowed to build a single railroad on every age change
+Immune to some (40%) negative Revolutionary events

Naval: (Renaissance valued)
-Permanent Level 3 Fort limit
+Allowed to build 2 level 3 factories in the Renaissance, and improve it to level 4 in the Enlightenment
+Allowed to build Battleships
+Allowed to Colonize other continents

Firepower: (Dark Aged Valued)
+Allowed to build unlimited Level 1 Factories in the Dark Ages
+Always allowed to build Artillery
+Allowed to Build a Level 2 forts in the Dark Ages

Manpower: (Renaissance and Dark Aged Valued)
+Immunity to ALL desertion events
+Allowed to build Level 1 barracks in the Dark ages
+Allowed to build any recruitment in the Renaissance
+Allowed to build tanks in the Renaissance

CHILDREN
Believe it or not, your royal house and family does matter, A LOT. Every player can have up to a maximum of 3 children (4 if you're narrowminded)
and yes, you get to chose their names and to what house they belong to.

MALE CHILDREN
Males are perfect for inheriting thrones, they have the capability of having a secure claim on their own throne and claiming other thrones should they be sons of
another house. If you already have a male heir, having another can mean that you can install him in the throne of a vassal, making it impossible for him to revolt for the next 25 days/years

FEMALE CHILDREN
Females can only inherit your own throne if there ARE NO MALES available for inheritance, and they cannot claim other thrones. But, they can be married off to
other countries' leaders and form alliances (That's right, you can only have alliances if your daughter is married to someone else)

EVENTS
There shall be two types of events, A-historicals and Historicals.
Historical events mark the entrance of important people into the world, EVERY nation gets at least a SINGLE great Person (Such as Joan of Arc, Genghis Khan, Ivan the Terrible, or he can be invented due to circumstances)
A-historical events will occur due to the amount of Provinces with different religion you have in your nation. As an example, Hungary starts with a lot of provinces of Orthodox religion, which means that, depending if the player uses Narrowminded ideals or not, that an event regarding religious uproar will spawn, the more provinces you have of other religion, the more frequent these will be, HOWEVER, they're not very different, and are repetitive (Such as the destruction of holy grounds, arresting of religious figures, etc.)

And finally, I wish to clarify that ANYONE is allowed to join, there shall be no elitism or blacklisting of players, but do realize, more important nations requite BETTER samples.
Also, Happy new year :)
