Rise of Rome

Plot -

509 BC - 100 BC
(Note: Historical facts and accuracy is changed to not confuse the readers)

The dreaded Civil War conducted by the Senate and Rebellious Noble Houses of Rome against King Tarquinius Superbus the Cruel/Despotic ended up with the death of the King, the Senate had won, the Republic had. Shorty after, the Senate declared "The Republic of Rome" and promised that "Never shall another King rule over us again". The Republic of Rome quickly saw to fortify the Roman Army and Navy, and with the help of House Julii, quickly conquering the settlements of invading Gauls in the north, House of Scipii the Greeks on Siciliy and the annexation of Epirus (Albania) by House Brutii.

The Loyal Houses of Julii, Brutii and Scipii had fought side by side with the Senate during the Civil War and their oath to the Republic could not be broken. But as always, power corrupts. The House of Julii seeked power and might, so that in the future they could challenge the Senate for the power of Rome and began their invasion of the Southern Gaul, quickly burning, looting and occupying their way through the land of Barbarians, as well as slowly expanding eastwards into today's Austria and Slovenia.

With the Brutii conquests in the east, and Julii in North-West, the Scipii challenged the mighty Carthage, and with the collective forces of House Julii and Scipii, defeated Hannibal "The Great", the commander of the Carthage Army, on the fields of Trebia, the Roman Houses were able to succeed in a glorious victory, forcing Hannibal to retreat with the Roman Army of House Julii as a swung spear marched into Spain, while the Scipii launched an invasion of the Nubian north Africa, and ended up victorious after the Battle of the Shaddar-Desert, forcing the Carthagian Allies of Nubia to surrender, Carthage was forced to do the same and the lands that once belonged to the Warlords now belonged to the Republic of Rome.

While to the East, the House of Brutii have expanded largely on the coast to East, meeting new nations such as the Macedonians, who's fighting a fierce war against the Free Cities of Greece.

The Map so far (Still fixing it) Just so you know, it's a pain in the ass to make it all look perfect. The map is not 100% accurate, and it might be difficult to spot the nations/factions. The blacked out area means un-discovered land, and ignore the yellow Poland, i will try to update this map as soon as i get the time.

Note on the factions, those who doesn't have a nation representing itself are basicly tribes/factions who's native/regular nation from the normal game that haven't been decided yet who it should be.
